About Me
I have been making silver jewellery from my workshop in Snowdonia since 2000, although some of my designs date back to the seventies when I was teaching in London and attended night school with Rod Edwards an Australian Jeweller. I also learnt a great deal from Rauni Higson a jeweller and silversmith from Talysarn.
I now try to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm for jewellery making and silversmithing to others by running jewellery making classes from my workshop. See the classes page to find out when the next classes will be.
During 2009 I made the crown for the National Eisteddfod. This was a wonderful commission and the repercussion from making it has been a new direction away from geometric designs to more fluid, organic work.
I am a member of the Gwynedd and Clwyd Craftworkers association, the Wales Craft Council and Fforwm Creft Cymru Craft Forum Wales. I also have items of jewellery on the Ecco web site which is run by Craft Forwm |
